8th Svetislav Stančić International Piano Competition, held from 20-25 February 2026 in the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall, attracted a large number of piano music lovers. On the Award Ceremony, the Competition's President Ida Gamulin welcomed all competitors but especially praised two Croatian prizewinners Ivan P.Poljak and Stipe Prskalo.
Members of the jury, President Peter Donohoe (UK), Grigory Gruzman (Germany), Milana Chernyavska (Austria), Peter Nagy (Hungary), Konstantin Krasnitsky (Belarus), Katarina Krpan (Cro) i Ida Gamulin (Cro) attracted a great number of young pianists from all over the world who showed their skill and talent, esspecially in Finals with Croatian Radioteleviosion Symphony Orchestra.
